Virtual Studio Visit

Shed door with sign and plants

With Noosa Open Studios 2024 underway, I thought I'd take advantage of the beautiful weather (and the fact that my studio space is reasonably tidy) and do a short video tour, to share this years exhibition of work and my studio surrounds, for anyone not able to make it in person.

You'll see latest pieces from my new Wayfinder Series, which are now up in the Gallery section of my website and available works are listed in my Shop.

This new work has seen me turn my attention back to my sketchbook in search of new shapes to incorporate and exploring the possibilities of using the gel plate to make image transfers from some of my photographs, to add another layer of abstraction.

I had a work in progress on the go to share with visitors and spent the in-between time working on a new piece, which I'm going to get back to in earnest this coming week. Visitors were keen to watch and have a go at the gel printing process, so between us we've created some lovely prints this week using roots, weeds and grasses.

I hope you enjoy this little look around, if you have any questions about anything you see, let me know hello@charlottewensley.com.au

Thank you for sharing your studio. Your art is amazing! I love the different color palettes you use. So much detail. Sarah

Thank you for this wonderful tour around you studio. I love your paintings, they are full of joy an there is so much to explore in them.

I have a question about the little bowls on the table near the entrance. I guess you made them as they match the colors of your paintings. What are they made of?

Greetings from Germany
