Departure Series

Journeys are full of experiences and events that create an emotional impact, and whether fleeting or sustained, recent or historical, abstract or tangible, these times bring with them a heightened sense of gravity and often a deep retrospective meaning.

This series captures responses to recently emerged reflections on where I have journeyed from, where I am travelling to, memories I carry along the way and more immediate questions about my sense of, and connection to the environment I am passing through.
